BAILEY JOSEPH, Hartsock Realty

Candidate for President-Elect

Bailey Joseph has been a REALTOR for 16 years. Before obtaining her license, she worked as a General Manager in the Food Industry.  Bailey has served on the RPAC and Grievance committees and as Vice President, President-Elect, President, and is the current Past President of the Board of Directors.

If elected to serve this organization, what do you envision contributing to our success?

“Helping to keep our organization strong and tight.”

ELAINE WEHRI, CCR Realtors

Candidate for President-Elect

Elaine Wehri has been a REALTOR for 11 years. Before obtaining her license, she worked as a Life Insurance Agent.  Elaine has served on and been a prior Chair of the RPAC committee and has been a member of the Board of Directors for three years, currently serving as Vice President.

If elected to serve this organization, what do you envision contributing to our success?

“To keep communication and knowledge provided to our members.”

KELLY MARTINO, Superior PLUS Realtors

Candidate for Vice President

Kelly Martino has been a REALTOR for 11 years. Before obtaining her license, she worked as a Firearms and Ammunition salesperson.  Kelly has served on the RPAC, Community Service, Golf, Installation, and Grievance committees and been the Chair of the MLS committee (for multiple years). She has been a member of the Board of Directors for eight years.

If elected to serve this organization, what do you envision contributing to our success?

“I have always wanted what’s best for our industry. No matter what my personal views are, I’m open minded and wanting to hear what others think and feel about what is best for our members.”

VERONICA FOX, Superior PLUS Realtors

Candidate for Vice President

Veronica Fox has been a REALTOR for 30 years. Before obtaining her license, she worked as a salesperson.  Veronica has served on the Hospitality, Banquet, and MLS committees and as a member of the Board of Directors.

If elected to serve this organization, what do you envision contributing to our success?

“Growth in technology. I’d like to learn ways to help our members and affiliates maintain the personal touch despite the use of that technology. The age of Dotloop, Ensign ect. can possibly make some clients feel out of touch.”

DAWNE ANDERSON, Berkshire Hathaway

Candidate for Director

Dawne Anderson has been a REALTOR for 22 years. Before obtaining her license, she in Banking. Dawne has served on the Professional Standards and Fair Housing Committees and served on the Board of Directors.

If elected to serve this organization, what do you envision contributing to our success?

“I’d like to be involved in making decisions that are best for the realtors in our Association.”

DOUG FINNEY, Key Realty

Candidate for Director

Doug Finney has been a REALTOR for 19 years. Before obtaining his license, he worked as a Children’s Pastor.

If elected to serve this organization, what do you envision contributing to our success?

“I will bring a wide understanding of the needs and wants of all Realtors (brokers and salespeople) throughout all regions representing members of the association, a fiscally conservative and socially proactive view of the membership and our activities, and a challenge to other board members to openly consider various aspects of a discussion before making a final decision. At times, I am willing to play the “devil’s advocate” bringing up valid viewpoints even if I don’t personally share them so that every reasonable viewpoint can be considered.”

Additional Remarks: “Having previously served in leadership roles in association governance, I look forward to the opportunity to get involved once more and “get my hands dirty!” 

GARRETT GATTON, Hartsock Realty

Candidate for Director

Garrett Gatton has been a REALTOR for 2 years. Before obtaining his license, he worked in the Ministry.  Garrett has served on the MLS committee.

If elected to serve this organization, what do you envision contributing to our success?

“I am very collaborative and understand the standard we want to set as REALTORS. This allows me to work with other agents/brokerages to raise the bar and reputation we have as real estate agents.” 

HEATHER GAUS, Cowan

Candidate for Director

Heather Gaus has been a REALTOR for 3 years and currently holds MRP certification. Before coming to Ohio, she was a Realtor in the state of Louisiana. Heather has served on the RPAC committee.

If elected to serve this organization, what do you envision contributing to our success?

“A good understanding of our local market & client needs. I strive to help maintain professional and ethical standards for our clients as well as all professionals within our industry. “

MARIA JACOMET, CCR Realtors

Candidate for Director

Maria Jacomet has been a REALTOR for 4 years. Before obtaining her license, she was a 911 Operator/Police, Fire and EMS dispatcher  Maria has served on the Affiliate and Technology committees.

If elected to serve this organization, what do you envision contributing to our success?

“As a servant leader, I can fulfill the duties entrusted as a director to the WCAR Board and our members. The success of the WCAR Board is dependent upon electing directors whose personal mission is to collaborate and communicate to improve services, opportunities and processes for members. Directors must choose professionalism and discretion for each situation to gain confidence of members. “

BEVERLY REX-COOK, Ron Spencer Real Estate

Candidate for Director

Beverly Rex-Cook has been a REALTOR for 3 years. Before obtaining her license, she worked in Accounting/Finance/Controller/CFO positions. Beverly has not served on WCAR committees.

If elected to serve this organization, what do you envision contributing to our success?

“Communication, transparency, clinics, speakers, goals and objectives, continued standardization, engagement of brokers, fun.”

Additional Remarks: “Possibly a newsletter from the Board, highlighting an agent or team in the Realtor magazine periodically, added visibility in the community and the importance of a Realtor and the impact that they play in the community.”

DEBORAH SASSER, Keller Williams Advisors

Candidate for Director

Deborah Sasser has been a REALTOR for 20 years in Ohio. Before obtaining her license, she was a Home Builder and Computer Programmer. Deborah has not previously served on the WCAR Board, but she has served on  the following: the Dayton Board for 12 years, currently on the Board of Ohio Realtors, served by appointment to the Ohio Realtors Executive Committee, is Past President Women’s Council of Realtors, was Dayton Realtor of the Year 2013, presently Ombudsman for Dayton, Dayton Professional Standards committee.

If elected to serve this organization, what do you envision contributing to our success?

“I take the real estate profession very seriously.  My goal everyday is to promote the real estate business in a positive light to the public and to guide/train real estate agents how to be the best agents they can be.”

Additional Remarks: “I am a rule follower.  I take my responsibilities seriously and expect others to do the same.”
