The purpose of the Nominating Committee is to identify candidates for Board of Directors elections, review all nominee applications and select those that should be presented to the Board of Directors for approval to be added to the ballot.  

At least three (3) months before the annual election of the President, with the approval of the Board of Directors, the President Elect shall appoint a nomination committee. Membership shall be composed of one (1) past president, the President Elect, and three (3) other active members of WCAR. Two (2) alternates shall also be selected to serve if one or more of the Nominating Committee Members are unable to attend the meeting.
