Board of Directors Election Information

Every fall, WCAR members vote to elect new leaders who will help shape future of our Association. 

This year, members will elect candidates to fill the following positions:

  • Three (3) Director Seats
  • One (1) Vice President Seat

What the Board of Directors Does

The Board of Directors serves as the governing body of the West Central Association of REALTORS®. Board members:

  • Make decisions that impact the welfare and future of the Association

  • Set policies and provide strategic guidance

  • Oversee WCAR’s financial structure

  • Represent and advocate for the interests of our REALTOR® members

  • Minimum of one (1) year membership in WCAR
  • Commitment to a two-year term
  • Attendance to monthly meetings and member events
  • Committee experience is preferred, not required
 
  • Minimum of three (3) years membership
  • Commit to a four-year leadership track:
    Vice President → President-Elect → President → Past President
  • Have served at least one year as Director
  • Be willing to travel on behalf of the Association
  • July 1st-August 4th: Online Applications Open for Candidates
  • SEPTEMBER 2-30: Candidate promotions
  • SEPTEMBER 19: Candidate meet and greet
  • OCTOBER 3-9: Online Voting Open
  • OCTOBER 10: Winner announced at membership meeting
