Plans CE classes, workshops, and professional development opportunities. This group ensures our members stay sharp, informed, and ahead of the curve.
Builds and strengthens relationships with our affiliate partners, ensuring they receive valuable benefits and support.
Creates meaningful connections between WCAR and its members through events, recognition, and feedback to improve the member experience.
Engages with local schools to help students learn about financial literacy, credit, and the home-buying process — preparing them for life after graduation.
Organizes the annual local RPAC event to engage members in advocacy efforts.
Promotes awareness of how legislative decisions impact REALTORS® and consumers.
Promotes the REALTOR® brand and WCAR through media outreach, marketing initiatives, and creative advertising ideas.
Maintains relationships with elected officials to support or oppose legislation affecting REALTORS® and private property rights.
Advises the Board on local government issues impacting real estate.
Provides guidance on office technology, tools, and system improvements.
Explores new tech resources to enhance efficiency and member experience.
Connects REALTORS® with meaningful service projects that make a positive impact in our neighborhoods and beyond.
Ensures MLS rules, regulations, and policies align with NAR standards.
Reviews and recommends updates to keep the MLS accurate, efficient, and compliant.
Oversees WCAR’s financial health under the direction of the Board of Directors.
Prepares the annual budget and supervises all financial matters of the Association.
Committee includes the President, President-Elect, Vice President, Immediate Past President, and one additional member.
Committee applications are accepted each October. All submissions are reviewed by the incoming WCAR President and presented to the Board of Directors for approval in November.
Both new and returning committee members are required to complete an application each year. Committee appointments are for a one-year term, and members must reapply annually to continue serving.
