ELECTIONS

Every fall, the West Central Association of Realtors membership votes on incoming Board members: (3) Directors and (1) Vice President.

BOD Description:

Governing body of West Central Association of Realtors
Determine matters affecting the welfare of the Board, policies, and programs
Make decisions affecting the Board’s financial structure
Represent the membership as a whole

Director Qualifications

Minimum of one year membership
Commitment to a two-year term
Attendance to monthly meetings and member events
Committee experience is preferred, not required

Vice President Qualifications

Minimum of three years membership
Commitment to a four-year term: Vice President, President-Elect, President and Past President
Has served a minimum of one year as a director
Willingness to travel

2024 Election Schedule

JULY 1: President-Elect chooses Nominating Committee
JULY 10: BOD Approves Nominating Committee
July 1-26: Online Applications Open for Candidates
AUGUST 1: The Nominating Committee reviews applications
AUGUST 2: BOD approves nominating recommendation
AUGUST 5-30: Nominees submit bio, profile photo and video for marketing
SEPTEMBER 2-30: Candidate promotions
SEPTEMBER 19: Candidate meet and greet
OCTOBER 3-9: Online Voting Open
OCTOBER 10: Winner announced at membership meeting
