REALTOR® Disputes

The West Central Association of REALTORS® participates in a statewide Professional Standards Program administered by the Ohio REALTORS.

This program provides a structured process for handling ethics complaints and arbitration requests between REALTORS®, ensuring that disputes are reviewed fairly and in accordance with the National Association of REALTORS® Code of Ethics and Arbitration Manual.

Because WCAR participates in this statewide program, all REALTOR® ethics complaints and arbitration requests must be submitted directly to Ohio REALTORS®.

Ohio REALTORS® oversees the intake, review, and administration of these cases on behalf of participating local associations.

Services Include:

  • Ombudsman Program
  • Code of Ethics Enforcement
  • Mediation or Arbitration of Commission Disputes

For REALTORS®

If you need to file an ethics complaint or request arbitration with another REALTOR®, please submit your request directly to Ohio REALTORS®.

For Consumers

If you believe a REALTOR® may have violated the REALTOR® Code of Ethics, you may also submit a complaint through Ohio REALTORS®. Their Professional Standards program will review and determine the appropriate next steps.
