Ohio Division of Real Estate & Professional Licensing

The Ohio Department of Commerce Division of Real Estate & Professional Licensing (REPL)  oversees regulatory boards and programs, including the Real Estate Board. The Real Estate Board licenses salespersons, brokers, and firms representing others in property transactions. The Board also enforces Fair Housing Law in cases involving real estate licensees and their employees.

WCAR’s Education Committee is committed to offering Continuing Education classes you need to maintain your license at no cost to the member.

Pre-Licensing consists of the specific education that is required by each state’s real estate commission in order to obtain a license and begin practicing real estate.

Agents who have renewed their license at least once, must complete the following requirements every three years.

As a new salesperson, you are required to complete 30 hours of Post-Licensing classes within one year of obtaining your license.
